1)Tell me about yourselves?

Ans: The Skalarecords maffians fundly called africa superb duet. we are named James & John. Our stage name is Jtwins_obameji number1, lives in lagos state, we attended friendsville high school Coker aguda surulere lagos state. We are 21 years old. Our growing up was not glamorous. It was modest and conservative. It was quality and strict upbringing by our parents. And that has helped us a lot in keeping a cool head in the industry we find ourself in today.

We always did our domestic works together joyfully, but sometimes we fought and made peace same spot lol.

2)When did you discover your passion for music?

Ans: we started from childhood then. Started writing songs from secondary school, only then it was writing rap. Years later, we started trying to keep a jo What inspired you to go into music and at what stage did you venture into music fully? urnal and that's how we wrote our first song. We made a visit to a recording studio with some friends sometimes in 2009. That's how it started.

3)What inspired you to go into music and at what stage did you venture into music fully?

Ans: Our passion for it love and Itz in our linege. aside from that we get motivated from people trying to make a positive impact in the world through their music, products, services, visions or ambitions because it is love that drives them. Love motivates us.we also draw inspiration from various aspects of life and struggles. We started recording with the aim of becoming a professional musician but the seriousness came after realizing the effects of the power and reach of music. And we started playing at shows.

4)What kind of music do you do?

Ans: we do Afro reggae, afro pop, Rnb, highlife, and hip_pop.

5) Do you have any album and how many?

Ans: currently working on our album of 15tracks.

6)Why did you choose your stage name and what makes your music different from other Nigerian artistes?

Ans: we started music as Reazenal twins. Reazenal twins was a name we chose because our music was preaching love. After using that name for some years, we decided to drop the name and adopt the nick friends gave us then in school Jtwins, because to me Reazenal wasn't original enough for the type of artiste we had graduated to. We changed the stage name to Jtwins_obameji in 2015. Jtwins means "James & john" in English, and obameji means " two kings" in yoruba. Our music is different from other artistes because of our brand is love, in the form of Afro pop, afro reggae, dancehall and R&B. I believe what stands we out is our lyrics and our delivery.

7)Many artistes have been launching their own record label, do you have yours?

Ans: of course yes Itz called "Skala_Records_Number1. International and locally recognized worldwide, we also launching a conference soon. (skalarecords conference). yea people's should watchout the hype is making wave's on TV, & Radio stations and as well social media's.

8)Who are your role models?

Ans: Our role models are. Baba fela, 2baba, Bob Marley psquare, dbanj, donjazy, wizkid, and of course, Michael jackson.

9)Have you collaborated with any popular artiste?

Ans: we still working on that in Nigeria, but have collaborated with like's of international artistes. "Peacely from holland" Corex Benedict kingzla & mandla from south africa.

10)How many shows and concerts have you performed?

Ans: A lot, we have performed in Headies award, Glo ovation, Nyma award, Nigeria achievers award. Eventnews pageant, mr&miss Nigeria international pageant etc.

11)Are you working on a new project and what are you bringing to the industry and your fans?

Ans: Yea a lot of work has been going on since we step in this year amazing and wonderful jobs has been done more are still coming for our fans out there. working on international music tour with the "Traveles & Tours management Sabeelu Najaat" of skalarecords by special grace of God. our fans should aspect nothing but greateness this year.

12)What do you think is the challenge facing upcoming artistes like you in the music industry and what do you think needs to be done?

Ans: The rate at which the industry has grown and developed is something to be happy about. It's doing very well'. Thanks to God and the stakeholders who are making bigmoves. Nevertheless, there's still plenty room for improvement for the upcoming ones.

13)What are your plans for the next five years and where do you see your music as well?

Ans: As a creative person, our ideas are limitless but one of our long term goals is to have our music changing life's in different part of the world. Also wanna see our music and our label remain number1 topchat in the world.
